Product Development Inspires New SXS Vehicle
In 2009, Arctic Cat approached WhiteBoard Product Solutions about designing a bridge vehicle that would get them a new vehicle in a short amount of time while they developed an entirely new vehicle in the typical design cycle, several years at the time. They wanted a sportier version of their flagship Prowler vehicle. At that time, validated through market research, Arctic Cat customers mostly considered their SXS vehicles for practical uses, but not for fun. Arctic Cat wanted to add a fun vehicle to the lineup. Whiteboard was tasked with exploring the market and discovering what it would take to develop a "fun" vehicle that would appeal to current Arctic Cat customers and attract new ones at the same time.

Over the course of the project Josh conducted research, interviewed enthusiasts, designed presentations, and did a lot of sketching. One of his designs was chosen as a finalist and was the runner up to a design by Cooper Priess.

Ultimately, Arctic Cat decided to expedite the development of a new vehicle, the WildCat, and dropped the further development of the Prowler Sport, which WhiteBoard had recommended to start with.
